Rotary Club Honors Sandy Springs Teachers of the Year

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs on Monday recognized the 2014-15 Sandy Springs Teachers of the Year.

The ceremony, an annual event hosted by Rotarians, was held during the club’s lunch program May 18 at Hilton Perimeter Suites.

Teachers were chosen by their respective schools. This year’s winners were:

• Dunwoody Springs Elementary School: Kim Wood
• Heards Ferry Elementary School: Lane Snead
• High Point Elementary School: Tashika Truesdale
• Ison Springs Elementary School: Nick Thompson
• Lake Forrest Elementary School: Jennifer Rivers
• Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School: Tiffany Waller
• Woodland Elementary School: Jessica Foltz
• Ridgeview Charter Middle School: C. Brian Davis
• Sandy Springs Charter Middle School: Latrease Turlington
• North Springs Charter High School: Eric Smith
• Riverwood International Charter High School: Brittany Wood

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has a 44-year history of service both internationally and locally to the Sandy Springs community.

Luncheon meetings are held most Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites at 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs.

The club welcomes interested business leaders, professionals and community leaders to visit for lunch. Reservations aren’t required but may be made in advance atwww.sandyspringsrotary.org.
