Run For A Reason 5K Trots Into Sandy Springs On Oct. 21
Riverwood International Charter School's second annual race will benefit its efforts to help a community in Nicaragua.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Riverwood International Charter School's second annual Run For a Reason 5K is just a few weeks away, and residents are invited to lace up their running shoes to join organizers for a great cause. The event, hosted by Riverwood's Community Service Club, will be held Saturday, Oct. 21.
Proceeds from the race will go towards a project to build two houses for Nicaraguan families as well as supplying food and hygiene kits to residents in the same community.

The 5K begins and ends at Riverwood. The entry fee is $30 and you can register online. Runners, walkers, dogs, and strollers are welcome. Participants who register by Oct. 7 will be guaranteed a T-shirt and swag bag.
If you are a procrastinator, you can register for the 5K on the day of the race for a $40 fee. The race begins at 8 a.m. and check-ins will be held from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Sponsorships are available at the $100 and $500 level. $100 donors will have their logos placed on the event T-shirt, recognition at the school and on race day and the option to place promotional material in the give-away swag bags. Donors at the $500 level also receive two race entries, logo placement on the Spring Break trip T-shirt, as well as acknowledgement across Riverwood’s various social media platforms.
