Runners Can Pound The Pavement To Help Sandy Springs Students
Sandy Springs Education Force will host its inaugural Footprints for the Future 5K on Saturday.

Sandy Springs Education Force on Saturday will host its inaugural Footprints for the Future 5K and Family Fun Run, and residents are invited to log a few miles to help provide a bright future for the city’s youngsters
The run, set for Nov. 8 at Lake Forest Elementary School, will raise funds to support the organization’s “mission of inspiring and supporting all Sandy Springs public school students to graduate and pursue productive lives beyond high school by providing educational and enrichment programs,” according to its website.

Check-in will start at 7 a.m. and the 5K starts at 8 a.m. The 1K Family Fun Run will get underway at 9 a.m.
For adults (including children 13 and older), the registration fee is $35 on race day. The fee for children is $15 on race day. Participants should note that race-day registration will be taken only in the form of cash.

Registration for the race can be done on SSEF’s website or on Active.com.
