If you are wary of change, living in Sandy Springs must be tough on you. We're, as some might say, et up with it right now.
New houses are going up, roads are being widened, parks being built -- being a Sandy Springsteen is rather like having box seats to witness a facelift. All of which leaves our town looking like an unmade bed.
In our neighborhood there are idle earth-moving machines, concrete pipes waiting to be installed, drainage ditches that have yet to drain -- it's a mess. It like a giant child neglected to put his toys away.
So I wonder what Sandy Springs will look like in 12 months when this work is (God willing) done. It has to be better than what we see right now.
Change is inevitable, but does it have to be so messy?
