Sandy Springs Blotter: Bruster's, Wine Store Burglarized
The following information was taken from the Sandy Springs Police Department's Weekly Wrap Up.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Editor’s note: the following incidents were taken from the Sandy Springs Police Department’s Weekly Wrap Up compiled by Capt. Steve Rose, which contains some — not all — of the incidents that occurred Sept. 3-7
Robbery
- 8721 Roswell Road, 30350, 9/6: Wells Fargo reported they were robbed around 11 am. The suspect, a light skinned black male, gave the teller a demand note for $5,000. He was given an undisclosed amount of money. He left in a black Dodge Charger onto Roswell Road, then Dunwoody Place. He had on a blue and white stripped sweater with horizontal lines, jeans, and a white baseball style cap. Capt. Steve Rose says: the reason we always say “undisclosed” amount of money on bank robberies is because the robber gets very little.
