Homicide
- Azalea Park Apartments, Cedar Run, Dunwoody Place: Late Thursday afternoon, we responded to the apartments on a “shots fired” call. The witnesses said they heard several gunshots. Arriving officers found a Hispanic male in the parking lot near one of the buildings. He was dead at the scene. The suspect, another Hispanic male, was seen running from that scene -- north -- within the complex. Perimeter canvassing did not produce anything. Detectives and street crimes detectives will be in the area doing extensive follow up investigations over the next few days due to the fact that we believe the suspect is local. No motive yet and we don’t know if they knew each other.
