First, residents will be given an opportunity to get an inside view of municipal operations with the City Hall Open House. The event will start at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. You can mingle with your elected officials and tour the home of your city employees.

Tours begin at 4 p.m., and the mix and mingle will start at the same time. The session of rubbing elbows will end at 5:45 p.m. so leaders and staff members can prepare for the City Council meeting.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m in Building 500 at City Hall. Of course, residents are invited to stay and watch Mayor Rusty Paul and the City Council in action.

If Tuesday’s open house won’t accommodate your schedule, then an evening party could be something to consider.

The party will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the Sherwood Event Facility, which is located at 8610 Roswell Road Suite 200 in Sandy Springs.

The event, co-sponsored by Leadership Sandy Springs and Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, will include a cash bar. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.
