Sandy Springs Chiropractor Leads Campaign To Fight Hunger

Thanks to the efforts of a Sandy Springs chiropractor, the annual Doctors Against Hunger Golf Tournament will return for its 12th year.

The tournament, which raises thousands of dollars for Atlanta Community Food Bank, will be held on Thursday, May 12 at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club in Woodstock.
Along with a round of golf, the event will include a variety of entertainment all for a good cause.

Dr. Sal Minicozzi of Sandy Springs-based Intelligent Chiropractic first started the event in 2004 and has served in every role, including chairperson, founder, chief cook and bottle washer to help make the event a success.
Over the course of the event’s 11 years of fundraising, the event has raised more than $71,000, which helps the Food Bank serve those in metro Atlanta and north Georgia who are food insecure.
Interested participants can register for the event online at www.acfb.org. Cost is $150 per person and includes green fees, cart, on-course lunch, access to putting contest, after tournament party and the chance to try a hole-in-one shot for a cash prize of $10,000.
