City Springs: Sandy Springs Residents Offered Preview
Sandy Springs residents will have a chance to see the progress made on the City Springs project in September.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Residents of Sandy Springs will have a chance to take an up-close look at the construction of City Springs on Sept. 23, when town officials will open the gates for tours from 9 a.m. to noon.
“While it is not typical to host mid-construction tours on a project of this size, City Springs belongs to the community, and we are excited to bring in our citizenry to showcase its progress,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul, according to a press release.
The construction began in January 2016 at the 14-acre site, which includes residential areas, city offices, theaters and a four-acre green space.

The entrance is at Mt. Vernon Highway at Sandy Springs Circle, where residents will meet city representatives and project experts for the tour, each of which is limited at 20 per group.
Tours will be limited in where they go, however, because there is ongoing construction at the site. Those on the tour will be able to see the performing arts center, the studio theatre, the main office lobby and citygreen, the press release said.
