Sandy Springs Conservancy Kicks Off Membership Campaign With S'mores, Trail Stomp
The organization will kick off its membership drive on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Morgan Falls Overlook Park.

Residents who have a passion for protecting and promoting trails are invited to attend Sandy Springs Conservancy’s event to launch its new membership campaign.
The organization’s Family Trail Stomp and S’mores will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 at Morgan Falls Overlook Park, located at 200 Morgan Falls Road in Sandy Springs.

National Parks Service ranger Jerry Hightower will be on hand for the family-friendly event, and residents are also encouraged to help get the hiking trails at the park ready for winter by walking the paths to tamp down the leaves.
After the work, residents can cozy up for stories and s’mores by the fire pit at the park.
