Feb. 5

6940 Roswell Road. A man said he took a cab from Buckhead to Sandy Springs just before 3 am and paid the driver nineteen dollars although the cabbie wanted twenty-one dollars. He told the cabbie he was sorry but had no more money. The cabbie punched him in the nose twice.

Feb. 5

125 Northwood Drive. A woman reported that her husband got “real” mad and punched her in the face in front of two children. The suspect was arrested.

Feb. 6

Cops were called to the 400 block of Trowbridge Lane just before 3 pm. They found that the complainant and his father got into an argument over the price of a television. The father threw a can of tea at the complainant/victim. The victim threw a glass of milk at his father. His father upgraded to a bread knife and charged the victim who retreated to the den and grabbed a glass vase as a shield. The father cut the victim on the forearm. The victim hit his father on the nose, causing a cut. The offender tells the exact story—only opposite. The father/offender was treated at the hospital and then taken to jail.
