Sandy Springs Education Force Hosting Annual STEAM Showcase

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — On Wednesday, the Sandy Springs Education Force, the city’s leading educational 501(c)(3), will hold its 10th Annual STEAM Showcase from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Springs High School, 7447 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs. The event features interactive exhibits where participants can discover the fast-changing worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). The annual showcase is part of Sandy Springs Education Force’s multi-faceted outreach program designed to educate, inspire and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world.

The March 11 evening event is open to the public and admission is free. Come to network with community, education, business and government leaders and learn about Sandy Springs Education Force’s STEAM initiatives in Sandy Springs’ 11 public schools. Immerse yourself in virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. Try your hand at surgical robotics, software engineering, gaming and much, much more. This is an opportunity to discover how STEAM fields are changing the world, the job possibilities that exist in these industries and how to be part of the future.
