Sandy Springs Education Force, the city’s leading organization dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged public school students finish school and start a productive life, announces the appointment of 11 officers to its Board of Directors.

“These appointments reflect SSEF’s continued commitment to finding the very best community leaders to guide our organization,” said Sandy Springs Education Force Executive Director Irene Schweiger. “Their knowledge, skill, and expertise will be invaluable to our organization as we implement our new three- year strategic plan.”

  • Charles Crosby, president, CORE Project Management, LLC
  • Kissy Dabbs, attorney and founding partner, Modern Unions
  • Patrice Dawkins Jackson, educator, Fulton County Schools
  • Jeannie Diluzio, Sandy Springs community advocate
  • Heather Kaufman, Sandy Springs community advocate
  • Carlos Pena, senior embedded software engineer, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company

The Sandy Springs Education Force is an organization dedicated to providing educational and enrichment programs through community collaboratives to inspire and support all public school students to graduate and pursue productive lives beyond high school.
