Sandy Springs Festival Now Accepting Vendor Applications
The 33rd annual festival will be held Sept. 22-23. Vendor applications are due by June 22.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Heritage Sandy Springs is now accepting vendor applications for the 33rd annual Sandy Springs Festival.
The festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 23, and categories for prospective vendors include Artist Market, Business & Civic Expo, Food and Beverage and the Cultural Corner – the festival’s newest initiative.
Established in 1984 as “Founders Day," the Sandy Springs Festival has grown from a small picnic to the largest community event in the city, drawing more than 20,000 attendees over two days.

This popular event offers a wide range of activities for all ages and backgrounds: unique artists and crafters, fun and entertaining children’s activities, chalk art competition, pet parade, 10k/5k races, musical performances, delicious food, and much more. The festival, which has historically served as the non-profit organization’s largest annual fundraiser, was offered free of charge to the community for the first time in 2017.

“Last year’s festival was truly a milestone for our organization,” said Sarah Poland, director of Marketing & Community Events for Heritage Sandy Springs. “We are thrilled to again be presenting the festival free of charge to our community, and there are many more exciting changes on the horizon. We have been working closely with the City of Sandy Springs to incorporate the beautiful new City Springs property into the festival footprint, which gives us the opportunity to grow and expand our offerings to reach a broader audience.”
Local businesses and civic organizations may apply for a set number of booth spaces; acceptance is not guaranteed and there is limited availability per industry. Tiered sponsorship opportunities are available for overall visibility and brand promotion, or businesses may elect to serve as the named sponsor of a particular area within the festival.
Sponsors will be automatically accepted and given priority booth placement. Applications for original artists as well as food and beverage vendors are also posted online via the festival’s website.
The new Cultural Corner will celebrate will celebrate the city’s diverse population by highlighting a variety of ethnic art, cuisine, and cultural performances. Artists, businesses, and food vendors interested in participating in this new area can email festival@heritagesandysprings.org for further instructions regarding the application process.
Vendor applications are due by June 22. The late entry deadline is July 23, pending availability. All applications require a non-refundable fee. More information about fees and guidelines, as well as links to online applications, can be found at www.sandyspringsfestival.com.
