Dr. Scott I. Lampert of the Sandy Springs office of Georgia Retina (1100 Johnson Ferry Rd. NE, Building 2, Suite 593) — one of the largest retina-only medical practices in the southeastern United States — was recently honored as a Top Doctor in metro Atlanta by Atlanta magazine.
Three additional Georgia Retina physicians joined Dr. Lampert as Top Doctors: Dr. Michael S. Jacobson was also named to the 2013 list of Top Docs in the July issue of Atlanta magazine, and Drs. Jay Stallman and Mark J. Rivellese were included in the prestigious online Top Doctor listing by Castle Connolly, a leading healthcare research company.
The Top Doctors listing is compiled annually by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. — an established healthcare research company based in New York City. The organization also compiles Atlanta magazine’s list of Top Doctors annually. Doctors are nominated for consideration through both a nationwide survey and a peer nomination process open to licensed physicians in DeKalb, Fulton, Cobb, Clayton, and Gwinnett counties. Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers then select the Top Doctors through a rigorous screening process that includes an evaluation of educational and professional experience.
