Update: Guns and Ammunition in Sandy Springs Suspect's Apartment During Stand-Off
Before he was taken into custody, Monday night, Clinton Bailey lived with Lindsay Rodgers at One Sovereign Place Apartments on Roswell Road.
The gunman and the mother of the infant held hostage in an 11-hour police stand-off, Monday, are a couple, police say.
“They are boyfriend and girlfriend,” said Sandy Springs Police Lt. Keith Zgonc.

Before he was taken into custody, Monday night, Clinton Bailey lived with Lindsay Rodgers at One Sovereign Place Apartments on Roswell Road.
“It’s not clear if he is the father of the baby,” Zgonc added.

Bailey has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of a Firearm in Commission of Crime. Lindsay Rodgers, 27, the infant’s mother was also arrested on misdemeanor Obstruction charges.
A statement, Tuesday, from Zgonc said police learned Rodgers had been in the vicinity for hours and periodically in contact with Bailey.
Following his arrest, detectives found three handguns and ammunition inside the apartment.
, complaining about water problems. Soon after he started to wave a gun at staff. He then returned to his apartment and held police at bay, with a seven-month-old baby inside.
After negotiators spent hours talking to Bailey by phone, an opportunity opened up when the gunman went onto the porch. A SWAT entry team took advantage and went inside the apartment to rescue the baby. She was unharmed.
“We then took him into custody,” Zgonc said.
