Sandy Springs Hosting Back 2 School Bash Tuesday

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Celebrate the start of the new school year with some after-school, summer fun at the City of Sandy Springs annual Back 2 School Bash, hosted by Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks, on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hammond Park.

Catch up with old friends and neighbors and make new friends at this popular event that includes water slides, games, a DJ, face painting, snow cones, popcorn, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to check out the newly renovated Hammond Park Gymnastics Center and meet the new gymnastics staff during their Open House event. This summer, Phoenix Gymnastics partnered with the City to provide gymnastics programming.

The Back 2 School Bash is the perfect opportunity for the community to get to know the Recreation and Parks staff and check out fall programming for the entire family. Parents will also have the opportunity to check out fall programming for their children, including gymnastics, karate and fencing classes and after school soccer, kickball and golf programs.

The event is free and open to the public.
