Sandy Springs Hosting Civic Dinners To Promote Conversations
Since July, the City of Sandy Springs has hosted more than 30 Civic Dinners to promote conversations between citizens.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — In July, the City of Sandy Springs began a citywide conversation on inclusion and belonging. During the first few weeks, more than 30 “Civic Dinners” were formed.
These conversations are about bringing different voices to the table, asking three questions and allowing everyone equal time to share with one voice at a time. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these conversations are conducted virtually through an organization called Civic Dinners. “Dinners” can be held both in English and Spanish.
Now, the city needs more people to participate.
