Sandy Springs Kicks Off Street Resurfacing Work on Tuesday

Work on all nine streets in the 2014 Resurfacing Program will take place form 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sandy Springs on Tuesday will launch its 2014 Road Resurfacing Program.

A total of nine streets are set to get makeovers and all work will take place during daytime hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

First on the list this year will be Winding Creek Trail. Milling of the street starts on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and actual resurfacing will start on Thursday, Oct. 9.

  • Resurfacing: Friday, Oct. 10

2. Old Stratton Chase

  • Milling: Thursday, Oct. 9
  • Resurfacing: Monday, Oct. 13

3. Bridgewood Valley Road

  • Milling: Friday, Oct. 10
  • Resurfacing: Tuesday, Oct. 14

4. Riverwood Court

  • Milling: Monday, Oct. 13
  • Resurfacing: Wednesday, Oct. 15

5. De Claire Court

  • Milling: Tuesday, Oct. 14
  • Resurfacing: Thursday, Oct. 16

6. Cherry Tree Lane

  • Milling: Wednesday, Oct. 15
  • Resurfacing: Friday, Oct. 17

7. Ridgeview Trail

  • Milling: Thursday, Oct. 16
  • Resurfacing: Monday, Oct. 20

8. Silver Lane

  • Milling: Friday, Oct. 17
  • Resurfacing: Tuesday, Oct. 21

Residents should take note that streets will remain open during the work. However, residents are advised to remove vehicles parked in the roadway and if they have a sprinkler system, ensure it does not spray into the road.

Expect minor delays accessing your street while crews are working.
