Sandy Springs Named 2nd Best City For Young Adults
A survey conducted by Credit Donkey reviewed median income, crime data and the percentage of young people in a city or town.
The city of Sandy Springs is the second best city in Georgia for young adults to live.
That's according to a study conducted by Credit Donkey, which reviewed the 150 largest population centers across the state. The study also reviewed the median pay for college graduates, the percent of residents between the age of 20 and 34 and safety.
The survey checked U.S. Census data to determine the median income for those earning bachelor's degrees in each city or town and to also find the percentage of adults ages 20 to 34 living in that specific place.
It also reviewed FBI crime data, which would show how many violent crimes are reported to the agency each year for every 1,000 people.
For Sandy Springs, its average median income is right around $58,000 and about 27 percent of its residents are adults ages 20 to 34.
