Sandy Springs Names General Manager For Performing Arts Center
Michael Enoch, a 38-year veteran of the industry, will relocate from China to start his new role on Feb. 1.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- On Monday, the city of Sandy Springs announced the name of the man who will run its much-anticipated Performing Arts Center.
The city, along with Spectra by Comcast Spectacor -- the company hired by Sandy Springs to provide venue management for public gathering components of its City Springs Project -- tapped Michael Enoch to serve as general manager for the PAC.
Enoch, a 38-year industry veteran, will be relocating to Sandy Springs after serving Spectra at the Studio City Events Center in Macau, China.

Enoch is expected to begin his new role in Sandy Springs on Feb. 1.
“We looked at numerous candidates through a deliberate process before making a selection to fill this role,” Sandy Springs City Manager John McDonough said. “Michael has the depth of experience to help us successfully launch the performing arts center as well as develop strong entertainment and educational programming and events. In addition, he will be instrumental in helping launch our foundation activities.”

In the area of venue management, Enoch has "proven" experience directing various special event centers from theaters and convention centers to large outdoor festivals in both national and international settings, the city notes.
He's also served as a booking agent for entertainment and sporting events, and has professional expertise in stage management.

Enoch served in a leadership role for a number of facilities including the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas; Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon; Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Thailand; Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China; and Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California.
His experience also extends into construction oversight for projects including the House of Blues venues in Boston and Houston; Gibson Amphitheater and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles; and the Hard Rock Live arena in Hollywood, Florida.
“I look forward to working closely with the city to transform events into experiences,” Enoch stated. “Working with our other Spectra properties here in Georgia, we can build on industry relationships to create new and exciting opportunities for the performing arts center and the community.”
The public gathering facilities at City Springs consist of the performing arts theater, studio theater, meeting spaces and park.
Spectra by Comcast Spectacor provides expertise in hosting and entertainment and provides venue management, food services and hospitality and ticketing and fan engagement to more than 300 clients at more than 400 global properties.
In Georgia, these facilities include the Macon Civic Center; the James Brown Arena in Augusta; and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta.
