Sandy Springs Nature Photography Comes To Lost Corner Preserve

Want to begin using more than your camera's automatic setting?

Whether you are looking to buy your first Digital SLR camera or want to begin using more than your camera’s automatic setting, join us at Lost Corner Nature Preserve for a nature photography workshop and walk on Saturday, May 6.

During the 3-hour workshop we will take a look at three types of digital SLR cameras – Micro Four Thirds, APS-C and Full Frame – and learn about their strengths and weaknesses for nature photography.

We will cover the basic techniques of operating a camera and discuss the artistic principles of what makes a great nature photograph.

Intimidated? Don’t be! The goal of this workshop is to help you develop your existing abilities, or get you started if you are a beginner.

The morning workshop will be followed by an afternoon nature photography walk. This will be the perfect opportunity for workshop participants to practice their newly learned skills and techniques, but you don’t have to attend the workshop to join us for the walk. Your instructor will be on hand to assist you with setting up your camera for each shot as you learn by looking through your lens.
