To be eligible to apply for funding, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) qualified nonprofit organization in good standing, located in the city or substantially serving city residents.

Organizations should provide programs or services to residents and must support the goals and objectives of at least one of the City Council’s adopted priorities: public safety, transportation, recreation and cultural enhancement, natural resource protection, community appearance, downtown development, sustainable growth or economic development.

Resources, which are not granted to support operational, administrative or fundraising functions, are available for projects completed July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016.

The application, requirements and instructions are available on the city’s website. Applications must be submitted using the city’s online submission tool, and the deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015.

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

The city will hold a training session at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 in the City Hall Training Room adjacent to City Council Chambers located at 7840 Roswell Road Building 500. While attendance is not mandatory, interested applicants are encouraged to attend, as the session is geared towards helping nonprofit organizations prepare the most competitive application possible.
