Sandy Springs To Pay Tribute To Veterans With Annual Ceremony

The city's 5th annual Veterans Day Tribute will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial at the Concourse Corporate Center.

The city of Sandy Springs on Tuesday will once again honor those who’ve served our country in its fifth annual Veterans Day Tribute.

The ceremony will take place Nov. 11 at the Veteran’s Memorial located at the Concourse Corporate Center at 5 Concourse Parkway.

The program begins at 11:30 a.m.

Mayor Rusty Paul will emcee the event, which will feature a keynote address given by former U.S. Army Captain Jack Solomon. Solomon graduated from West Point in 1957, and was commissioned a 2nd Lt. of Artillery. He served 12 years in the United States Army in various command and staff positions.

Other event participants include the North Springs Charter High School JROTC Honor Guard and special music sung by Sandy Springs Fire Rescue Captain Mark Ware and Lieutenant Rodney Brooks of the Henry County Fire Department.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in Concourse parking deck six.
