Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber Hosts 4th Annual Sandy's Awards Gala

Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber brings together its members, trustees and leaders.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- On Saturday, March 5, the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce hosted its 4th Annual Sandy’s Awards Gala at Chastain Horse Park. This year’s roaring 20’s theme event brought together Chamber members for an exciting evening which included cocktails, socializing, a plated dinner, and an award presentation. Among the over 150 SSPC guests in attendance were several elected officials, including Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul, Councilman Gabriel Sterling, and John Paulson.

Lever Stewart, Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber 2016 Board Chair, began the night discussing the organization's success. Stewart concluded with the Chamber’s expectations for 2016, thanking all in attendance and introducing the night's emcee, Maggie Taylor, Director and Performer of Act 3 Productions.

Taylor performed a 1920’s number, and then gave recognition to the Chamber Investor Level Leaders, Trustees and the award nominees.

This year’s event featured 9 nominations, in 3 categories; Small Business of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and Community Volunteer of the Year. The Small Business of the Year award went to Sandy Springs Gun Club & Range. The Restaurant of the Year award went to The Brickery. The Community Volunteer of the Year went to Jeff and Cindy McGinity.
