Sandy Springs Photography Club Seeks Members

Whether you are looking to improve your photography or simply want to begin using more than your camera’s automatic setting, join like-minded individuals at the Sandy Springs Photography Club.

Club meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month.

Beginner Session: 6:00-6:45 p.m.

Club Session: 6:45-8:00 p.m.

Age Range: 14 years old-Adult

Location: The Cottage at Lost Corner Preserve, 7300 Brandon Mill Rd, 30328

Cost: Free* (There will be fees for workshops & field trips as the club grows.)

During our club meetings, we take a look at different types of digital SLR cameras and learn about their strengths and weaknesses. We cover the basic techniques of operating a camera and discuss the artistic principles that lead to great photographs. Intimidated? Don’t be! The goal of our club is to help you develop your abilities and we welcome complete beginners. Whatever your skill level, the club will help build your confidence as a photographer.

What to bring: Bring your camera and any lenses you have. No camera? No problem! We have some extras for you to borrow.

About the Sandy Springs Photography Club: Founded in 2017, this is a new club provided by the city of Sandy Springs. We are not going to charge any club-dues to begin with, so for now the club is completely free. As the club grows, we will look at providing club events such as workshops and field trips.
