Sandy Springs Plans Open House To Address Intersection Improvements
The city will address improvements slated to start in 2015 at various intersections due to the relocation of Heards Ferry Elementary.

The city of Sandy Springs later this month will host an open house to allow the public to ask questions related to road improvement projects planned in the city.
The open house will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 in the Council Chambers at Sandy Springs City Hall.
City staff will display preferred designs and answer questions related to improvements planned for the intersections of Heards Ferry Road and Raider Drive, Powers Ferry Road and Heards Drive, Powers Ferry Road at Dupree and Interstate North Parkway and RiverEdge Parkway.

The projects are intended to address a change in traffic patterns related to the relocation of Heards Ferry Elementary School and to enhance traffic flow in that corridor. Construction is set to begin in 2015.
Sandy Springs City Hall is located at 7840 Roswell Road.
