Sandy Springs Police Release Video, Timeline of Target Shooting
One person has been arrested in connection to the shooting, which occurred Sunday evening at The Prado Sandy Springs shopping center.

The Sandy Springs Police Department has released surveillance video outside Target on Roswell Road in connection to Sunday’s shooting that left one person injured.
Larry J. Walls, 28, of Milwaukee was arrested following the incident, which occurred at The Prado Sandy Springs shopping center at 5610 Roswell Road.
Using the video, the police department was able to piece together a timeline of events that occurred before, during and after the shooting:

- 5:59:18: Two suspects get out of Dodge Charger and into victim’s Chevrolet Trailblazer.
- 5:59:38: Tan or silver SUV pulls behind the Charger and Trailblazer.
- 6:00: “All the action occurs,” agency spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon states. Larry Wall “bolts” from the Trailblazer’s front passenger seat and is chased by a suspect. Two suspects exit the tan or silver SUV and “rush the Trailblazer at same time Mario Ross exits and is fighting with one of the suspects,” Momon said.
- 6:00:10: Mario Ross is running/walking towards the entrance of the Target. The suspects are getting back in their cars and drive off.
- 6:00:38: Ross is walking/limping directly towards the camera as the Dodge Charger drives by him. He collapses on the ground soon after, an action not shown on the video.
Ross, 27, and was shot outside the store and was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Both Walls and Ross were passengers inside a vehicle when shots were fired at Ross by suspects who remain at large, Sandy Springs police spokesperson Capt. Steve Rose previously told Patch. Rose stated Ross and Walls were part of a drug deal that occurred in the parking lot of the shopping center.

The victim’s 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was also driven away from the scene and remains missing.
Detectives are working on finding and identifying the other suspects who were part of the drug transaction and responsible for the shooting.
