Sandy Springs Ranks 36th in Top 100 Best Places To Live

The city ranked 36th in a list compiled by Livability. It's the only city in Georgia named to the list.

The city of Sandy Springs has been named as one of Livability’s 2015 Top 100 Best Places to Live.

The city ranks 36th on the list, which only includes small to mid-sized cities with populations between 20,000 and 350,000.

Livability reviewed data such as amenities, demographics, economy, education, social and civic capital and health care to come up with its list.

Livability notes Sandy Springs is home to headquarters for a variety of industries. Along with its business appeal, the city also has 12 parks and green spaces, 10 private schools and three top hospitals that make up 40 percent of hospital beds in the Atlanta region.

Sandy Springs boasts around 95,000 residents, has a median household income of $65,353 and home prices that average $426,800, according to the website.
