Sandy Springs Restaurant Week Set For Nov. 4-10

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Self-proclaimed foodies will soon have yet another reason to savor irresistible bites from their favorite restaurants in Sandy Springs. That's because the city is gearing up to host its 2017 Restaurant Week, which will run Nov. 4-10.

Featuring more than 20 participating restaurants, this week-long event will feature exclusive prix-fixe menus from the city’s most celebrated restaurants, along with additional promotions, sweet treats and other unique offerings.

Restaurant Week menu specials range from $10, $15 and $20 lunches to $25, $35 and $45 dinners. Check out a full list of participating establishments online. Highlights from this year's offering include:

• Under the Cork Tree will serve a $45 three-course dinner for two with a choice of two appetizers, a main course for sharing, such as seafood paella, organic chicken tagine or mixed grill with hanger steak, Moroccan spiced chicken and more, and a choice of warm date cake or crema catalana for dessert.
• Kaiser’s Chophouse presents a not-to-be-missed $45 dinner menu showcasing the creations of Chef Peter Kaiser. The three-course menu includes dishes, such as shaved Brussels sprout ginger salad with tempura fried shrimp, charbroiled KC strip steak with port shallots butter and potatoes gratin, and pineapple upside down cake with cardamom ice cream.
• CalyRoad Creamery’s “Pretend You Are in Paris” Cheese Course is a carefully-crafted basket of goodies, including a selection of handcrafted French-style CalyRoad Creamery cheeses, an Old World Artisan baguette, cured meats from Spotted Trotter, dried fruit, imported mustard and local jams. Baskets are $25 for two people; add $16.99 for a bottle of French Bordeaux Theophile Querre.
• Southern Bistro’s $10 lunch menu allows diners to choose from two first course options: a cup of apple-butternut squash soup and a simple green salad or one of the Bistro’s famous sandwiches, along with French fries, slaw or chips. Both options include a dessert course of homemade banana pudding.
