Sandy Springs Rotary Club Honors Public Safety Officials
The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs on Monday held its annual Public Safety Awards during its lunch meeting.

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs on Monday paid tribute to the city’s public safety employees during its annual Public Safety Awards event.
This year’s award recipients were:
- 2014 Police Officer of the Year: Cory Begeal
- 2014 Police Supervisor of the Year: Sergeant David Huffschmidt
- 2014 Police Civilian Employee of the Year: Alberto Cabrera
- 2014 Fire Officer of the Year: Captain Chris Edmondson
- 2014 Paramedic of the Year: Firefighter Gina Ramey
- 2014 Fire Fighter of the Year: Firefighter Matthew Hildebrand
- 2014 Chief Fire Officer of the Year: interim Deputy Chief Mark Duke
