Sandy Springs Rotary Club Members Give Back To Community
The club participated in the first-ever North Fulton Serves, an initiative in which members performed various community service projects.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs participated in the first North Fulton Serves at three locations throughout the city.
Members of the club visited three places — Belle Isle Road Apartments, Allen Road Mid-Rise Senior Living Center and the Sandy Springs Library — to take part in the initiative.

Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs, the North Atlanta Rotaract Club (Rotary International’s service club for young professionals), the Riverwood Charter High School and the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School interact clubs (Rotary International’s service clubs for teens) and friends of Rotary participated in landscaping, playground improvements and painting.
An estimated 180 hours of volunteer work was spent on the three projects.

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has a 44-year history of service both internationally and locally to the Sandy Springs community. Lunch meetings are held most Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites at 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd NE.
The club welcomes interested business leaders, professionals and community leaders to visit for lunch. Reservations aren’t required, but may be made in advance on the club’s website.
