Sandy Springs Schedules Next 10 Community Meetings
The two input meetings will focus on the MARTA small area proposal and provide a Comprehensive Plan update.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Sandy Springs community is invited to attend two upcoming Next Ten community meetings planned for next month.
The meetings will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 20 at Heritage Sandy Springs, which is located at 6110 Blue Stone Road.
The Next Ten initiative is a citywide dialogue designed to update the Comprehensive Plan to address growth and development both throughout Sandy Springs and in specific areas.

The first meeting, the MARTA Small Area Plan Workshop, will review and refine the draft concepts for the North Springs MARTA Station and for future Northridge station areas.
This meeting is a follow-up to the workshop held in March. The second meeting will provide a Comprehensive Plan update, including a look at the framework for future land use as well as draft concepts for the four Small Area Plans.

Both meetings will begin with an open house at 6 p.m., a formal presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. and time allotted for discussion and feedback.
A light dinner featuring food from the Varsity and King of Pops will be served at the July 20 meeting.
