Sandy Springs Shooting Victim Speaks

Adina Parson has been hospitalized but stable since her husband allegedly shot her eight times in the head.

 

Adina Parson, continues to make progress. She was shot outside her Sandy Springs apartment in April and has said her first words since the incident, according to a WSBTV News.

A family friend told the news station that Parson said "hello" to her mother on Tuesday.

Adina is currently recovering at the Shepherd Center. Her husband, Michael Parson is being charged in the shooting. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail.

WSBTV.com previously reported that Michael Parson, a Navy veteran, was a manager at a Dunwoody Petland store and may have been secretly engaged to a former employee at the store.

Initially Michael Parson was not a suspect in the shooting, police said. As their investigation unfolded he became a suspect and fled the area. Earlier in May, he was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol following a traffic stop.
