Sandy Springs Society Needs Donations For 'Upscale Resale' Event
The organization will host its Tossed Out Treasures event March 27-28 at Marshall's Plaza.
The Sandy Springs Society is collecting gently-used clothing, decorative items, kitchen, silver, jewelry, linens, books, sporting equipment, framed art and household items for what it’s calling the “ultimate flea market.”
Tossed Out Treasures will take place March 27-28 at the former Marshall’s store, which is at 6337 Roswell Road.

Event organizers have secured donated space in Marshall’s Plaza during the month of March for their “upscale resale” event, and will be accepting household donations at that location on designated days through March 21.
“This is an ideal time and opportunity for residents to unload their treasures for a local cause and receive a deduction,” said Sandy Springs Society member Elizabeth Kelly, 2015 Tossed Out Treasures co-chair. “With the Sandy Springs Society fundraisers, money is raised locally and stays local, ensuring that your donation will benefit over 25 Sandy Spring nonprofits.”
