Sandy Springs To Start Construction Prep On City Center Site

Now that demolition of buildings on the property is close to completion, Sandy Springs starting July 1 will begin installing a fence surrounding the entire site as the construction prep work begins for the initiative.
That means that on July 1, parking will no longer be permitted on the site, the city said on Wednesday.

Lane closures are expected as initial prep work is conducted to ready the site for construction, and as Georgia Power begins working on utility relocations.
