Starting in the spring of 2016, The Music Class will roll out classes in 100 RYB locations across the country, and that number is expected to double by the fall of 2016.
The music will be in English, which will give students a head start on English language education, Sayer said.
“We recently visited RYB in Beijing and were very impressed with their commitment to providing quality educational programing for young families,” Sayer said. “The teachers we met were talented, energetic and dedicated professionals, and convinced us that RYB is a great match for The Music Class.”
RYB has over 1,000 locations in China and has received numerous awards, including honors from UNESCO, the China Family Education Association and the China Education Society.
The Music Class, a research-based education program, helps parents “enhance their child’s music development” during their early years though classes that utilize singing, dancing, movement and instrument play, Sayer added.
A concert celebrating the partnership will be held Nov. 21 in the Beijing Concert Hall.
Founded in 1998, the mission of The Music Class is to unleash the musical potential of young children. The company currently has 25 teachers servicing over 1,700 students in 13 locations in metro-Atlanta.
TMC programs are offered by independent teaching centers in over 200 cities in North America, 11 countries internationally and at over 300 Primrose Schools in the United States.
