Sandy Springs Unveils Naming Opportunities For PAC

All requests will be considered based on consistency with the values of the city, and the person named should have ties to the community.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs has announced naming opportunities for its highly-anticipated Performing Arts Center under construction at its City Springs downtown redevelopment project. The Sandy Springs Public Facilities Authority, made up of City Council members, made the decision Tuesday to provide the naming opportunities for the venue.

“City Springs is the most exciting project the city has embarked on since cityhood, and we have heard from many of a desire to contribute in some way," said Mayor Rusty Paul. "With naming opportunities, we hope to provide an avenue for individuals and companies to be connected with the project, while using those gifted funds to further programming."

The Public Facilities Authority has sole discretion in naming of assets at City Springs. All naming requests will be considered based on consistency with the values and standards of the city and the named person should have ties to the community, the city added.
