School Board Schedules November Community Meetings

Each member of the Fulton County School Board sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community.

The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for November 2015:

Katha Stuart, District 1

• Nov. 18, 9:30 a.m.
• Sweet Apple Elementary School, 12025 Etris Road, Roswell

Katie Reeves, District 2

• Nov. 17, 9:30 a.m.
• New Prospect Elementary School, 3055 Kimball Bridge Road, Alpharetta

Gail Dean, District 3

• Nov. 12, 9:30 a.m.
• Spalding Drive Elementary School, 130 W Spalding Drive, Sandy Springs

Linda Bryant, District 4

• Nov. 16, 6 p.m.
• Langston Hughes High School, 7510 Hall Road, Fairburn

Linda McCain, District 5

• Nov. 12, 9:30 a.m.
• Findley Oaks Elementary School, 5880 Findley Chase Drive, Johns Creek

Catherine Maddox, District 6

• Nov. 16, 6:30 p.m.
• Asa G. Hilliard Elementary School, 3353 Mount Olive Road, East Point

Julia Bernath, District 7

• Nov. 12, 9:30 a.m.
• Woodland Elementary School, 1130 Spalding Drive, Sandy Springs

Board members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
