Second Concert By The Springs Set For Sunday

Drive Time Band will entertain Sandy Springs residents at Heritage Green.

The second installment of the 19th season of Heritage Sandy Springs’ Concerts by the Springs will take place on Sunday.

Held one Sunday evening each month from May through September, the outdoor concert series is free and open to the public and has become a celebrated community tradition each summer.

On Sunday, Drive Time Band will serenade the crowd at the concert, which starts at 7 p.m. at Heritage Green on the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn.

The concert series features five performances, offering something for all ages and audiences.

The remaining acts slated to come to Sandy Springs this year include:

  • July 12, 2015: The Tams
  • August 2, 2015: The Return
  • September 6, 2015: Banks and Shane

A 10-piece show band, Drive Time, is comprised of a five-piece rhythm section, five-voice ensemble of tight harmony and seasoned with a powerful horn section. Playing favorite pop hits and ballads, this band is sure to delight audiences of all generations.

Concert goers are encouraged to arrive early and picnic with family and friends, as the gates will open at 5 p.m. Blankets and coolers are welcomed; no outside tables permitted. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
