Senior Citizens Center is a Fun Daily Getaway
The Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex offers everything from knitting and bridge games to trips on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Tucked away on Vernon Woods Drive, The Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex can be a great getaway for the elderly in Sandy Springs.
The center has two clean, cozy yet spacious buildings. One side is dedicated to active independent seniors and the other is focused on more dependent seniors, ages 60 and over.
Each side has craft rooms, recreation areas, a fitness center and library, and more.

There are also getaways. The Benson Trailblazers have trips planned to Savannah and Destin, Fla. in April. Later this year, they are traveling to Egypt, Italy and Hawaii.
