Seven Hens Restaurant Closes in Sandy Springs

The location at the corner of Roswell and Abernathy roads will become a poke bar concept.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Two Seven Hens restaurants have been sold, and their current locations will be converted into new concepts.

The Shumacher Group, Inc. said it sold both the Decatur and Sandy Springs locations.

The Sandy Springs storefront will be converted into a poke bar concept while the Decatur establishment will be transformed into a Korean street food retailer, an announcement from the company said.

Seven Hens is a two-unit counter-service eatery serving chicken schnitzel in seven, globally inspired flavors for patrons who appreciate a "better-for-you chicken meal."

The chicken schnitzel is local, all-natural, cage-free chicken breast that’s pounded and breaded so it’s tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. We explore recipes from around the world, capturing unique flavors for an unforgettable, delicious experience.

Seven Hens at 6615 Roswell Road #340 in Sandy Springs opened in Oct 2014. According to the Shumacher Group, Inc., the owners planned to grow the concept nationally and create a franchise company.

However, those plans were put on hold as the owners announced plans to relocate overseas, the company said.
