Spalding Drive, Mt. Vernon Road Improvements Start April 13

Weather permitting, the intersection at Spalding Drive and Mt. Vernon Road will soon close to through traffic.

Starting Monday, April 13, construction will kick off on roadway improvements to the intersection.

Detours will be in place to assist motorists traveling through the area, and drivers are asked to use extreme caution and maintain the posted speed limits along the detour routes.

This project realigns the intersection and enhances traffic operations with the installation of traffic signals, according to the city. Anticipated completion for the project is fall 2015.
