Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:

  1. The City of Sandy Springs will be hosting Spooky Springs on Oct. 22 at Abernathy Greenway Park North. This free, family-friendly event will feature candy stations, face painting, food trucks, and more. More details will be made available next month. (City of Sandy Springs)
  2. Fulton County Public Schools is seeking public input on its Bridge to Success plan. The plan's goals are to recover from the pandemic's learning disruptions, record the Atlanta metro's highest growth average, demonstrate the fidelity of implementation in all instruction tiers, and report performance approval.   3. Fulton County will be hosting Septemberfest on Saturday, Sept. 17. The inclusive festival will be offering free behavioral health services and a variety of community-based programs. Fulton County District 2 Commissioner Bob Ellis will be serving as the festival's official host.
