Because of his leadership in board subcommittees and his unwavering support of Springmont, Blake has been selected to succeed outgoing Board Chairman Chris Huff.
Blake first served as the chair of the Facilities subcommittee and guided the upgrade of Springmont’s main building. He also served as a member of the Development subcommittee where he worked to secure contributions for the Springmont Fund.

Blake, his wife, Jennifer, and their three children joined the Springmont community three years ago. The Blakes work to support Springmont’s programs, as Jennifer Blake often volunteers, and serves as a substitute and a tour guide for prospective families at open houses.
“We believe in all things Springmont, so I am glad to have this opportunity to serve the school,” Frank Blake said.
He will begin his tenure in June. Huff served the school for three years in this capacity.
“In his short time on the Board, Frank has assisted the school in immeasurable ways,” said Jerri King, Springmont head of school. “You can actually look around the campus and see improvements resulting from his leadership on the Facilities and Development Board committees. I can’t wait to see what the next few years have in store as we move ahead with our strategic plan, our campus improvement plan and much more under his leadership. Also, we thank Chris Huff for his time and talent for the past three years. He’s been invaluable to us in so many ways.”
