Sandy Springs-based Springmont was recently given two International Association of Business Communicators Southern Region 2015 Silver Quill Awards of Excellence.

The awards are for Springmont’s viewbook and for their marketing brochure. The Silver Quill awards recognize excellence in business communications and honor outstanding strategies and communications professionals.
They are presented to the best professionals in the Region who have proven that their communication programs effectively furthered the goals of their organizations — promoting organizations and ideas, enhancing communications, boosting revenues, saving costs, rallying employees or contributing in various ways to their success.

The awards ceremony was held Oct. 16 in Denver, Colorado. Springmont won in the categories, Advertising Campaigns and Marketing Communications, respectively.
“We are proud to be recognized against such a high standard of excellence,” said Jerri King, Springmont head of school. “This recognition acknowledges two of our flagship communications vehicles, our marketing brochure and our viewbook, which are the cornerstones of our admission program.”
Known as one of the most prestigious awards program in the industry, Silver Quill recognizes business communicators from throughout the IABC Southern Region. IABC, the International Association of Business Communicators, is the leading resource for effective communication practice. The organization provides products, services, activities and networking opportunities to help people and organizations achieve excellence in public relations, employee communication, marketing communication, public affairs and other forms of communication.
“The Southern Region Silver Quill Awards are evaluated by a Blue Ribbon Panel of judges based upon IABC’s standard of excellence,” said Julie Ludwig, IABC Southern Region chair. “Award winners should be proud of their achievements based upon the rigorous standards and judging. We congratulate all of our award recipients across the Region.”
