Want to reduce the possibility that your Sandy Springs home or business will get broken into? Sign up for a free security survey. This free survey takes about hour. We will walk through your home or business, talk about your concerns and I will make suggestions on how to make you home or business safer. Then we will walk the outside of your property where I will offer suggestions using a combination of a security survey (hardening the target) and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).
This crime prevention technique (CPTED) involves four overlapping strategies. The strategies are Natural Surveillance (intruders/offenders can be easily seen), Territorial Reinforcement (denying access to a crime target), Natural Access Control (landscaping, signage, fencing, etc.), and Target Hardening (lighting, landscaping, etc.).
The Crime Prevention Unit is also available for group talks and presentations to senior groups, businesses (crime prevention and active shooter), neighborhood watches, home owners associations (HOA), children and just about any other group or organization.
