State Of The City Address Moves To City Springs

Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul will deliver the 2018 address on June 26 at the Studio Theatre.

SANDY SPRINGS, ,GA -- While the grand opening of City Springs isn't expected to take place until August, Sandy Springs is already preparing to roll out the red carpet for one of the most important events of the year.

The Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce will hold the 2018 State of the City Address on June 26 at the Studio Theater, which will also serve as the home of the City Council meetings. Of course, Mayor Rusty Paul will give deliver the annual address.

“City Springs was envisioned by our residents as a place to gather, enjoy fellowship, and as a home for the city’s stewardship," Paul said. "It is fitting that our first booked event for the Studio Theatre focuses on the what’s ahead for the city of Sandy Springs."

The 350-seat theater, located inside Byers Theatre, is a 5,000-square-foot flexible space that can be configured to serve the community as a meeting space, a venue for small performances, or a location for corporate meetings and banquet-style events. It features excellent acoustics, a full-lighting grid, a sprung floor, and other technologies. The 2,730-square-foot lobby also provides pre-function space for the theeatre, and can also accommodate small events and receptions.

The State of the City address is open to the public. The event includes a luncheon, and pre-reservations are required. To reserve seats, call the chamber's offices at 678-443-2990 or visit its website.
