According to its Facebook page, the restaurant will serve its last meal at its Pharr Road location on Saturday, March 5.

After that, Taka will open a temporary location March 9 at Cafe At Pharr, which is located at 3145 Peachtree Road Suite 101.

In the meantime, owners will be hard at work preparing to open its new home in Sandy Springs, which will open up shop in the Gateway development at 4600 Roswell Road, Taka adds on its website.

“The Sandy Springs location is under construction, and if we can open at the end of April, we are lucky,” said Taka Sushi’s owners.

In a earlier post on its Facebook page, Taka said its new outpost will allow the company to increase seating from 45 to 65, with patio space that can provide an additional 20 seats.

On Feb. 21, the owners stated they feel nothing but gratitude from its customer base over the last 14 years, something they say can’t be exchanged for money. Customer satisfaction comes first and building a relationship with one’s patrons comes second, the restaurant added.

“This is my theory of 14 years (of) business,” the company said. “And this (is a ) theory (I) will take over to a new place.”
