Teacher Hiring Event Hosted By Fulton County Schools April 20

FULTON COUNTY, GA -- If you're looking for a job in one of the state's largest school systems, an upcoming event can help.

Fulton County Schools will hold its mid-year recruiting event to attract teaching talent to the FCS system from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20. This event offers candidates an opportunity to learn about existing and future positions available throughout the district. The event will be at the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.

Experienced teachers as well as recent and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to attend to learn more about employment with FCS. Interested candidates will be able to meet district leaders, discover how FCS supports and hires teachers, become familiar with Fulton’s salaries, benefits and culture, interview for current openings, experience FCS’ diversity, and learn about Fulton C.A.R.E.S. (Creating Access to Resources and Support) Wellness Initiative.

Additionally, prospective teachers will have a glimpse into the community partners, vendors and leaders, giving the candidate a chance to experience the Fulton value proposition.

Hiring Event 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Fulton County Schools is looking for the best and brightest to join our team of talented and passionate educators. All teachers are welcome--especially experienced and out-of-state educators! All content areas with special emphasis on Special Education, Secondary Math and Science, World Languages, and Fine Arts content areas. Student support services (Counselors, Speech Language Pathologists, etc.) representatives will be in attendance.

Information Sessions 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.

On-site information sessions covering Certification, GO TIP (Teacher Induction Program), and Fulton C.A.R.E.S wellness initiative.

Interview Sessions 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

On-site interviews will be granted at the discretion of the school leader.
